Terms & Conditions
Course enrollment terms, student obligations, and school standards for Dynatech Driving School.
1. State Permit Requirement
In accordance with Louisiana state regulations, all enrolled students must obtain a Temporary Instructional Permit (TIP) from the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles prior to receiving instruction. Failure to present an active physical permit on day one of class may result in rescheduled training at the student's expense.
2. Attendance & Classroom Standards
Louisiana law requires 100% attendance of mandatory classroom hours (30 hours for the 38-Hour course, 6 hours for the 14-Hour course). Unexcused absences, habitual tardiness, or failure to complete assignments will require makeup sessions subject to instructor availability and school scheduling fees.
3. Behind-the-Wheel Scheduling & Punctuality
In-car driving lessons are booked individually following the completion of classroom coursework. Students must arrive promptly for all scheduled driving sessions with proper closed-toe footwear and their physical TIP permit. Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 business hours' notice may incur a reschedule fee.
4. Code of Conduct & Vehicle Safety
Safety is paramount. Dynatech Driving School enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding:
- Any mobile device use while operating the training vehicle.
- Disregard of instructor commands or reckless vehicle operation.
- Suspected impairment by alcohol, drugs, or prescription narcotics.
- Disruptive or disrespectful conduct toward staff, instructors, or classmates.
Violations of this safety code may result in immediate dismissal without refund.
5. Passing Criteria & Certificates
Certificates of Completion are issued exclusively to students who achieve the state-mandated passing scores on both the written knowledge examination (minimum 80%) and behind-the-wheel driving assessment (minimum 70%). Completion of hours alone does not guarantee a passing certificate.
